They painted over bedbugs and cockroaches. They have black mold everywhere. The appliances, air conditioning, doors, locks, carpet, countertops and refrigerator are all broken on move in. They will lie to your face, "our apartments are worked on for a immaculate move in condition by a great contractor company and we stand by their work" they will say. Then you move in and its moldy broken bedbugs amd roach infested. These people are slumlords. They over charge and will financially ruin you. These apartments are not a home and should be condemned. The fact they are seemingly allowed to operate at all is a stain on the city. They have no shame or pride in their work. Its disgusting. The 5 star reviews are all fake BTW. We can all tell. Renting here was the worst mistake of my life. I was trapped. Held hostage in a dungeon by their predatory rental lease. Do not rent here. Note their complete and total denial in their reply. They can't even acknowledge the problems, they deny entirely that problems exist.

I’m writing this review because this place had completely screwed me and my credit. Before you throw blame and say it’s my fault please read my experience… I was living in a 2 bedroom apartment with my father who had got us evicted from said apartment complex.. I was in a high stress situation and had found a 1 bedroom apartment (mountain shadows) that seemed to have a good move in deal. I had been recovering from a bankruptcy , (hints why I was still living with my dad) but after him causing us to be evicted I decided to go ahead and get my 1st apartment with mountain shadows. The lady up front was extremely nice and when I came to tour the apartment the place was pretty rough shape but I was again stressed out had nowhere to go and I signed the lease anyway ( 100% my bad ) I paid the deposit wrote them a 2200$ check and went back to work to finish my day. Later that night (same day lease was signed) I went there to clean it up and see if I could fix these issues. Carpet stains were not coming up and the carpet starting to come up at the edges with a simple vacuum. Obviously with that not being normal I pulled up a corner and immediately saw bugs… I started to look at the windows to see if they lock and the locks were broke and there’s window screens were taken out and missing… there was also black mold looking stuff around the window seals where it looked as water had been seeping through from rain , snow , etc etc.. This point I’m frustrated with myself for rushing everything but all these things seem fixable.. my problem is any apartment complex shouldn’t do that to someone it’s just wrong and it’s frustrating because I told the lady that I needed to have a apartment like yesterday and she told me she could make it work and help me out. I’m a kid recovering from a bankruptcy because of a medical incident and I didn’t have insurance. I called the bank the next day and they said they voided the check and gave me my money back. I talked to the office lady who had completely flipped personality’s and ended up being extremely rude the next day when I voiced that the place was inhabitable and I would simply like to just not have it affect my credit and I could just move on. She then hung up on me and ignored me for probably about a week. She finally then talked to me and told me that they wouldn’t come after my credit and I would be okay and to not worry about it… but about a week after that my account went negative that 2200$ deposit. That check had been cashed and they took that deposit from me. As far as I’m aware they didn’t come after my credit as yeah it shows I never rented there (I think, I’m not sure how I’m suppose to check that) but they sure did steal my deposit and my bank account got closed and i sit 2200$ in debt waiting for collections to contact me.

I tried giving these apartments the benefit of the doubt, yet they still surprised me. I cleaned the apartment better than what it was when I moved in. And yet the deposit was taken. The videos I have are all what truth my claim is. I moved into an apartment with roaches, pink mold, dirty stained carpets and a non working refrigerator. But to them the apartment was in top tier condition and was worth every “penny”. It’s honestly quite despicable. It gives Money hungry. When living here their favorite number’s were $500 and $250 for any little thing. Garbage outside, Dog poop, loud noises, oil stains in the parking lot, and many more I can’t remember. The monthly announcements were always a new violation with a big price tag on it. I could say more but won’t, I just feel the “power” they have over all the residents is ridiculous, anyone who’s lived there knows the true colors they show. Save your money and proceed elsewhere. It’s not worth the hassle.
