I was about to move into these apartments. After submitting my application I waited about 4 days to finally hear back from them they said that I was approved and they gave me a day that was about a week away. I was happy and relieved because I had to be out of the place I was staying and they weren't going to let me stay any longer then the first of the month so I was desperate to find a place and waited five days and did everything that they needed me to do in order to move in. After a week and a half of waiting I received a move in letter the day before my move-in date so I thought that all was good. However I went to my bank to get a cashier's check for the remaining amount that I needed to pay inorder to move-in and when I got back in my car on the night befor I'm supposed to move in 2 days before I'm supposed to be out of the place I was staying I gat a call from mountain shadows and they tell me that there was an issue with a previous place that I lived at and said that until I resolve that issue I was not going to be able to move in. I received the call 5 minutes before they closed on the night before I was supposed to move in telling me I was denied after a week and half of waiting with only 2 days left before I was going to be homeless. I was fortunately able to find a place in time amazingly that just so happened to be in a significantly better area so luckily I came out of this situation ok. I don't think it was intentional but mountain shadows apartments really tried to screw me over not because I was denied but because of how long it took them to tell me that I was denied they should be ashamed and embarrassed of how they handle that situation and I cannot say this enough if anyone reads this and is interested in moving into mountain shadows I highly advise you to look elsewhere because even though I didn't live there definitely interacted enough with the management of that place to know that they don't care about their tenants or potential tenants and in my opinion have deserved the two star rating they currently have out of over a hundred reviews. I'm so happy that I was denied because it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
