Mountain Shadows HAVE COCKROACHES!! AS OF 4/24/15 they still have cockroaches!! My 18 month old son ate one. I contacted the health department and it still did NOT make CASEY PRICE THE PROPERTY MANAGER do anything!! These apartments are disgusting. very rude management. maintenance is VERY slow!! I asked for my living room screen on my window to be replaced because it was torn and looked very nasty and it took them a month to do that! The carpet in my apartment has bald patches every where, stains in every room and i'm currently in a one bedroom. You can smell drugs,& cigarettes and other funny smells through the vents in the apartments. The apartment was not cleaned when i moved in such as i had to clean the cabinets (Which were stained and had crumbs and dead cockroaches in them), clean the toilet bull, bathtub, vacuum up stuff from past residents. My kitchen drain smells terrible. I wake up and turn on my kitchen light and see cockroaches scattering. They had their so called "ALL PRO PEST CONTROL" spray but they sprayed every week and nothing was changing!! I have a 3 month old and an 18 month old so that is a lot of chemicals for such little babies. The dishwasher had a terrible smell when i first moved in but at this moment for only being here for six month i still don't use it. The carpet in my living room isn't even all the way to the wall so it has the nails sticking out which is very UNSAFE ONCE AGIAN!! too many problems and if i can save anyone issues that i had to deal with i will! I HATE THESE APARTMENTS AND I HAVE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE HERE!!! AS WELL AS THEY CHARGED ME A $250 paperwork and application fee!! They also charge $15 dollars just for a parking stall. just please STAY AWAY FOR YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR MONEY!! my rent for a one bedroom with water,sewer,trash,gas is about $750 a month that doesn't include your light bill. BEST ADVICE IS FIND SOMEWHERE WORTH STAYING!! I use to stay at Mark Twain Apartments and had a great experience there!!
