DO NOT LIVE HERE! I wouldn't even rate it one star. You would be better off living in a Motel 6. My first apartment with Mountain Shadows had bed bugs, they had to exterminate TWICE, and tried to charge me for it! I had to throw away my mattress and couch. I had to heat treat ALL my shoes and clothes. My AC went out in a triple digit summer and they didn't fix it until the END of summer, I kept my fan on to get some air flow and my power bill was over $300.00 they did not help cover any of it. I then transferred to a three bedroom which they only gave me 24 hrs. ahead to move (I only stayed because it was affordable). Once I got the three bed. it was not cleaned at all and the carpet was not replaced. Kitchen and bathrooms were disgusting, window seals were dirty and there were dead COCKROACHES everywhere so I went from bed bugs to cockroaches. I called to get a cleaning crew and they couldn't come out on weekends so I had to clean all the dead bugs ans the apt. before I could move my things in. The dishwasher smelled like TRASH, no one came to fix that so I just hand washed my dishes. When I FINALLY moved out they tried to say I didn't give enough notice, so I was then stuck there another month at a month-to-month rate which was $300.00 more. I got none of my deposit back and they STILL tried to charge me over $275.00 when the only thing in OKAY condition was the carpet which was old anyways! The pool was never clean, disgusting. I get these are 'affordable' apartments, but these are just completely ghetto. Management (Kasey) was rude, unprofessional and never willing to help. I have pictures on my old phone of the dead cockroaches, the pictures I uploaded are of bed bug bites! GROSS!
