Worst place I've ever lived in. I lived there for 2 years, and its always been disgusting. I'm glad I moved out, driving past there gives me the chills. Rent is too high for these trashy apts and trashy area may I say.

I've lived at Mountain shadows almost a year, I pay $900 for the smallest apartment which is less than 600 sq ft. Yet one website claims rent starts at $585, by the time fees are added, you're better off at the belagio.I called 2 times last Saturday, and spoke with Carmen about a serious leak who assured maintenance would arrive soon, 8 times trying to leave a message for maintenance, stayed with family for a week. Came back and NOTHING'S been done, carpets are soaked, the guys cutting the lawn scratched the bumper on my NEW car. I had a motorcycle, after it was vandalized here, I had to get a car. Roaches are so disgusting, leaks everywhere, kids run around all hours screaming. The window in the bedroom looks like a morgue. They charge ridiculous fees, Casey, ruby, Carmen will lie straight to your face. I didn't have any problems finding another place when I mentioned this place. The black mold killed my elderly canine, dryers will show you have 10 minutes but really give 7 with cool air. This is the most disgusting place ever, don't be fooled by the pics, Facebook is full of real pics of black mold, roaches...yet you're charged like u live in a high end place. Maybe a high end dump...run. luckily I stored most of my belongings, what's here will have to be thrown away. Oh, and watch out for the bedbugs you will be told by staff NO ONE else has had. Talk to EVERY RESIDENT. THESE GUYS ARE SLUM LORDS.

I have lived at Mountain Shadows for over 3 years and have had a great experience. The office staff is very friendly and have always helped with any issue I had. The grounds are always kept very well, and the property has come a long ways in the past couple years. The have done a new paint job, some landscaping projects, and new paving. I definitely feel comfortable having friends over and being proud of where I live.

DO NOT RENT HERE! You might think their prices are cheap but that is not the case! If you are even a penny off for your rent they will charge you $200 dollars for being late without even notifying you. The office staff is utterly useless, they are never on time & always close the office an hour early. So if you need to pay rent before you go to work & they aren't there "OH SORRY THATS YOUR FAULT" that's what they told my fiancé when they couldn't open the office on time and now the rent is late, you try to come after work and then office is closed an hour early and THAT"S OUR FAULT, it's complete BS. They do not care about their tenants, they just want all the money they can hustle from them. They don't leave any notice on your door (like they should) letting you know when it's time to renew your lease or to give your 60 day notice to vacate. The way these apartments are run are completely unprofessional. They need to get better management. NO ONE should be treated the way they treated my fiancé and I. Save yourself time & money & DO NOT RENT FROM MOUNTAIN SHADOWS.
